these earbuds are great! i just wanted to share a tip that i could not find anywhere online:
ultrasonic devices will interfere with the ambient sound feature. make sure to turn off all ultrasonic devices in your surroundings. in my case, a motion sensor light switch which had both ir and ultrasonic sensors was causing interference. it took me a while to figure this out, so i hope this helps somebody save some time!

great sound and connection but left bud will not charge. after a few months the left bud went stray for a few weeks eventually found under lounge cushions. now it will not take charge nor start with a dark residue apparently coming from holes near charging points regularly staining charging case

i've had these for about 7 months. i only use them gently once or twice a month as backup headphones. out of nowhere, the right earbud quit. it won't charge, and its icon on the app is greyed out. for the money, you'd expect your headphones to last at least a year. this was my first and last time purchasing samsung headphones. very disappointed.

these things are cheap for a reason i got them on 12/10/20 used em 1st time today 12/12/20 horrible sound quality volume doesn't go up very high you still hear everything around you even with the ambient sound off it started skipping like your phone would do in bad reception. just purchased the powerbeats pro by dr dressing beats. best investment ever for $70 more great sound quality volume goes 10s higher than the bud+, fit well, and very clear no skipping. samsung could learn a thing or 2 in the headphone department from beats

i'm so unhappy with this product and just my luck someone accidentally threw one away and for days and all i get is transfers and hung up on. i'm so upset i spent $181.80 and they are not that great. all i want in to replace one ear and pay the $80 they said and ship back the case and ear i do have. so upsetting and disappointed

i have had these for about 2 months now. range of the bt is about 1 inch = garbage; everything interferes with the bt causing it to go in and out making listening less than enjoyable and hardly motivating while working out.
sound quality when they do stay connected is awesome! i really like the selectable background level as well. touch controls a bit too sensitive but easy to use other than the experimental volume control, that could use a little more work.
too bad the bt is so awful, other wise these could be great earbuds in my opinion.

i have small ears, so i was hoping they'd be small enough to not hurt my ears, but i can't wear these for more than a few minutes without my ears starting to ache. a huge problem i have is the case- i dropped the case, it was closed when i picked it up so i assumed it had survived the fall, but it had shot the earbuds out and snapped closed, all without me realizing. so, one earbud was on the ground all night and the other was in the floorboard of my car. they survived though. i've had problems with sound quality when outside, ambient sound has to be completely off and the touch has to be blocked because the wind will activate the touch control and cause crackling in the microphone.

my galaxy buds broke after only 5 months. the left earbud just stopped charging. after verifying my warranty with samsung (before mailing them in for what i was told would be a free repair) they were returned to me with a bill for almost $200. they said they are a non-usa model and, while they are under warranty, i have to pay for the repair.
i won't be buying samsung again. a product at this price should last more than 5 months and the warranty should be useful!

less than 7 months since purchase. also my 2nd purchase. both styles have let me down. most recent is the left bud wont charge at all now. case says its charged, but wont connect and samsung wearable app doesn't show it connecting. wont buy a 3rd pair. way to much money for something that breaks fown to early.

sound is fine whatever but they make themselves unusable constantly. they have a feature that when you take your headphone out it stops playback. sounds smart but not when it thinks the ear bud falls out all the time. im not joking when i say i yawn and it cuts off completely. unusable when doing anything other than sitting in place until you can restart your playback.

i bought the galaxy buds and randomly the right ear put out so little sound i couldn't hear it unless the volume was 100%. then the buds plus were released and i got a pair, and after a few months the overall sound quality diminished. then ,again, the right ear lost almost all sound and after dealing with that for months my left ear now is very low and there is no point of even using them.

i had apple airpods, but since i had samsung galaxy phone, i also bought these.
i was impressed the way they got connected with my phone, after that, my experience has been bad.
1. after 30 mins of use, my ears started paining because of the way they are designed. you just want to remove them and throw them away because the pain intensity increases every minute you keep wearing them.
2. i go for runs, and they just fall out when you're running. they are not stable, and don't stay in your ear when you're working out.
3. sound quality is not as good. i ended up using the wired earphones more than these buds.
ps: do not buy! waste of money!

bought these a few months ago thinking they would be a nice pair of earbuds. unfortunately i did not read the reviews first. as with most other honest reviews, my right earbud has just quit working completely and with not respond to anything i try. without being able to connect to both i am unable to update them as well. not worth the huge price tag on these.

though these earbuds do sound good (when they work), in less then 6 months of owning these, the right earbud does not work anymore. a search on the internet shows that this is a common issue with these. the website doesn't allow me to file a warranty claim because it somehow doesn't recognize me as purchasing these even though i got them when i ordered the s20.

i bought them for me and my husband as an anniversary gift, he is still happy with them bought during the time i started using them, i developed this issue: the rubbers irritate my ears very much and i can't use them anymore.
the sounds quality is fine, i didn't use them to make calls, so i don't know about that but right now, after a few time using them, every time i try to use them my ears get so itchy so i can't even have them on for more than 10 minutes, i didn't know about this problem and it became eventually something that makes me use my regular headphones instead and i can't even return them because the return window is closed!
i wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

i have never given any product a single review in my 19 years of living but i thought i had to give this a review because the earphones were so bad. first thing i noticed right out the bat was the fact that the case was dead and not charged right out of the box which is a big nope from me. and dont get me started with the audio quality. for starters my 50 dollar beats with water damage sound better than these. everything sounded muddy and muted as if something was preventing the sound from coming through the earphones. in addition to the sound these headphones had very little if any bass. if you dont care about sound quality then these are a decent replacement.

bought the earbuds+ and was really excited using them for 2 weeks with my s9. after 2 weeks, the left earbud kept lagging with sound especially during the call making it an echo effect. sometimes the sound came so distorted making it feel like the person on the other end is a robot. on top of that, both earbuds keep on disconnecting automatically for no reason. sad thing is, the return/refund window is only of 2 weeks. after that you have to wait for 2 weeks for repair. basically, you can't enjoy your costly $150 earbuds+

function and fit are great, good volume. ambient sound useful but at best ok. mono use only seems to be fully functional with right bud (if using left loses signal if you get away from case/ rt bud). only real hang up i have is bluetooth range seems anemic for upper end ear buds. still the best i've tried though, and i've been through 3 different ones. fit is nice, water resistant but in the shower the running water will pause playback or turn on ambient, but technology may just not be there yet.

bought the buds+ in the beginning of june 2020 and it worked fine for 2 weeks. that is when the return policy expires and the buds+ start acting funny! the voice from the person with whom i am talking to sounds like robotic/techno, like it has been highly auto-tuned in a sound studio, doesn't matter if it a regular call or whatsapp call and each bud lags by a fraction of second, which makes it sounds like an echo. on top of that, the connection automatically drops with my samsung galaxy s9 after few minutes. the only solution is sending it to repair. so basically, you spend $150 on these brand new, samsung website bought buds+ and you cannot enjoy these at all.

these earbuds are by far the best fitting and best sounding i have ever owned. if you spend the time putting on the various sized earbuds and wingtips that come with the product you will achieve a good fit. i can go jogging and have these stay in my ears with with no problems. there are a lot of things i love about these buds+, battery life is amazing for their size, love the charging case and how when you open it up it shows the battery life of the buds and case on your phone right away. the equalizer works pretty good, you can further adjust your sound setting for your device in your phone settings, make sure it's set to normal, not pop, etc. absolutely love the double tap behind each ear to increase or decrease the volume. ambient is very easy to turn on/off with a long press.

i loved the idea of getting 22 hrs of listening time and the ability to amplify sound but it comes with a price. you pick up annoying sounds to a max for example water wind and constant buzz sound. would love it if it filter some noise out. also i started to notice the sound while i watch movie dies down like it goes super low then comes back to what i was listening.
final not they will fall out your ear if you sweat a lot or you exercise with a lot of movement.

after ordering these on amazon - the first pair arrived with a dead left earbud, and the second pair had the left earbud stop working at the 5 week mark.
i returned the first pair with amazon, and received a new unit. now that the replacement pair failed within 5 weeks i passed the return window with amazon. now with samsung i will now have to wait 2-3 weeks for them to process the repair and make another trip to ups.
when they are working, it's great. i just don't have faith in these 150$ headphones lasting any period of time. it's frustrating to have 1 doa pair and 1 dead within 5 weeks to now wait 3 weeks to have a repaired unit.
as my first attempt at bluetooth in ear headphones, these are a pretty bad start.

received the pixel buds 2 as a gift and was very underwhelmed by them. i thought my various gripes with them were just par for the territory until i bought these. these buds+ do everything right that the pb2 did wrong. they sound and feel great, they isolate well, the app is intuitive and allows you to customize the eq/controls, and the battery life is incredible. my only qualm would be the endless permissions you have to give in the app. but overall, highly recommend!

Got them free with a promotion and they came and i immediately set them up. on my phone so far I haven't had the issue but i haven't had it connected to my phone for too long. Then I connected to my Samsung computer (2019 model) and it gets out of sync every few seconds and has a sort of lag. Good mechanics but i sense this issue may get annoying in the future.

Ok so for once I'm impressed with a pair of wireless headphones. I took a chance and got the Galaxy Buds+. I got them in the mail about 2hrs ago and I'm thoroughly impressed the sound quality is amazing much better than I thought, noise cancelling is great and the ambient sound feature works better than I thought. Great quality, wireless charging if u have a Galaxy s10 or higher u can charge the case wirelessly by putting it on the back of your phone.

I've had the iconx, galaxy buds and now the buds plus. They've gotten better and worse at the same time. The iconx was able to have music loaded and it was nice not to carry your phone. The galaxy buds were a good fit improvement. Now the buds plus are very nice. I like some of the added features like the higher level of ambient sound however I still think the iconx had better ambient sound.
My only real complaint is that you cannot control the volume using just one earbud. This causes issues for me since I use them at work and only wear one at a time so to be respectful to my other employees so they know I'm not blocking out what they are saying. Iconx had this feature but now they can't offer it on the newest version? Kinda sucks, like tech oligy going backwards. Fix this and it'd be a 5 star review. It cannot be that difficult to allow volume control from a single bud.

I bought these near the end of December and they had decent audio and volume. Definitely not the best, but acceptable. My real problem comes with them only lasting 2 1/2 months. Like, wow, that is WAY too little. The audio is unbearably and crunchy, with most of it consisting of static. They are broken, after 2 months like that's not worth it, especially when you take into account the mediocrity of the product

I bought these a few months back. I can't even use them to make phone calls in certain situations, like riding in a car or water running in a sink or standing in laundry room while washing machine is going, because the background noise is too much. I get complaints from people I'm talking to. Terrible performance! I had Bose before and they lasted for years. I lost them while traveling and had to buy another pair. The only thing the store I went to had was the Galaxy buds. I've had about five Galaxy phones and thought the ear buds would be good. I wish I had just waited!

I have bought 4 other earbuds, some in that were double the price of the Galaxy Buds+. You can't beat the sound quality and the battery life. The ambient sound option I didn't think I would ever end up using is actually really useful. They are also very comfortable to wear you don't even realize they are in and don't fall out. The point is if you are in the market for earbud get these. Not just a bang for your buck but also nothing else compares.

Idk why there are so many bad reviews. I had these for a few months now and they have exceeded my expectation! Obviously they aren't going to have the best sound quality like Sennheiser or Bose, which cost way more, but you can't beat this price. Sound quality is very good and battery lasts a long time. Also the passive noise canceling works great! The tap features are very useful. So far I have not had a single problem but I'll update this review if anything does go wrong. Overall I think this is a really good pair of earbuds.

This happened with my Buds, and i was hoping the design would be better with the Buds+ that I got as a promo with my phone. Multiple times I will get done using them, put them in the case, come back the next day and the buds have not charged even though the case is 100%. The only thing i can contribute this to, is the fit in the case is not quite right with the large tips or wings. It doesn't happen all the time, just some times. Yes I am using the factory large tips and wings. This has happened to me with both the buds and the buds+. I fixed it on the buds my putting a small piece of foam in the top of the cavitys on the upper case to make sure the buds press down all the way. Guess I will have to do the same with the Buds+.

Since buying my first pair of budget true wireless earbuds over a years ago, I've been looking for a pair that were a worthy investment. I don't like the design of the Airpods, so when the Airpod Pros came out I was pretty sold, but dreaded the price tag. I ended up taking a look at these for my husband, and found out they were compatible with iOS and was excited they 1, were $100 cheaper than the Airpod Pros and 2, had an 11 HOUR BATTERY LIFE. The battery life sold me on theses over the Airpod Pros. These earbuds lasted me through 30 hours of international travel without even having to charge the case. I'm now using these daily while working from home and I never have to worry about their battery dying on me. Quality earbuds and worth the price tag for sure.
