i was in love with my samsun powerbot...it was my third robot vac...the other 2 were i robots... the samsung did such a great job at cleaning and navigating through my home. until the day it stopped working... ofcourse it was also a few days after i had finished paying for it and the warranty had run out! there was no repair service available from samsung... i even tried taking it to a local vacuum repair man... he told me i had a good boat anchor!

the vacuum cleaner worked well up to 8 months of use when it began to discharge after 20 minutes of operation. i sent it to technical service apparently the battery did not charge completely and was discharging quickly.
they returned it from technical service and it worked well for 5 more months and the vacuum cleaner presented the same problem now it stays in the charging station and never reaches the necessary charge to start cleaning. the one-year warranty is over and customer service recommends that i find someone to repair it. there is no one in houston who can repair this vacuum cleaner and samsung does not know either.
now i realize that it is already discontinued, it is no longer on the market and they are no longer selling it.

wheel broke after 1 year. it was just a cheap plastic spring mount. i had to replace the whole assembly. filter case plastic tab may break. wifi feature does not work.

I have fallen in love with the Samsung Powerbot 9350. It has literally saved me hours of work a week. It goes from carpet to hard surface with ease and can maneuver around furniture with out getting stuck. Every time empty the dirt I am shocked how much it picks up. The first day I ran the vacuum I had just cleaned manually so I didn't think it would pick up too much but to my surprise the bin was full of dirt which I realized it's suction is more powerful then my upright vacuum. I love how easy it is to program from my app and how I get notifications when it's stopped or stuck and I can adjust quickly. I don't think I will be able to live without this vacuum.

The Power-bot was able to pick up my animals hair, and I have a Australian Shepherd, and even a German Shepherd, and it had no problems picking up the hair which to me is important, and this little thing is so craft, and it amazes me how simple something like this can be so powerful like this. It also picks up my cats hair, and cleans my house all the spotless, and I am picky about my house being clean clean. The rollers are super effective, and so important with this! I love this plan on buying another one for other parts, been using this all over my house, and it works amazing.

As a roboticist, let me just say: the localization ability of this vacuum is impressive. For the techies out there, this robot uses a variety of sensors to determine where it is. It appears to have both a pressure-sensitive bumper and a couple single-point IR sensors for (presumably) avoiding nearby obstacles. It uses an upward-facing camera to track visual features on (or near) the ceiling. I have a pop-corn ceiling, which I suspect only enhances the effectiveness of this sensor. These sensors, along with the wheel encoders, allow the robot to capably track itself as it wanders the home. There are probably more sensors I didn't notice. I mean, even after picking it up and moving it across the house, this robot ALWAYS find its way back to the charging station. How does it do that? RF?
I've historically been a big fan of robots with lidars, since they tend to be really good at localization. But, in some contexts, a camera can be every bit as effective. Didn't Elon Musk just claim that lidars are a "fool's errand"? While I disagree with him, this robot doesn't hurt his position; it is every bit is as good as any lidar-equipped vacuum I have seen.
Battery life = not bad. In my experience, it takes this vacuum ~45 minutes before it needs a charge, during which it covers ~600 square feet (rough estimates) in turbo mode. For people with larger homes, the recharge frequency might be a bit annoying. But, after charging, the robot goes right back to where it left off and continues the job. Provided the job gets done, is it a problem that this bot takes breaks every 45 minutes? Heck no.
The vacuum itself... is powerful. I always keep mine in turbo mode, which isn't much louder than an old-school, upright vacuum. Samsung claims this vacuum is the world's "most powerful" in terms of suction. I initially thought that this was marketing hype, but am starting to believe it. I ran a quick comparison between this vacuum and my upright one by letting the old-school one go first, then letting this one have a go at the leftovers. Despite seconds, this powerbot still came away with more dirt.
Recap: Powerful, excellent localization, and good battery life. This robot will NOT randomly wander all over your house like... a popular competitor (you know who you are!) Spot clean (SmartThings App) is also convenient for quickly cleaning up the area around the 15-month-old's feeding zone.

The POWERbot R9350 is a small but powerful little machine that can handle any vacuum cleaning job, whether it is a full scheduled cleaning or a small touch up mess.
The R9350 has plenty of power and different suction levels to tackle all of my cleaning needs. I have two dogs and the R9350 keeps up with the messes they can leave behind.
My wife and daughters have long hair and the maintenance of cleaning the beater bar is super simple, just push the two retainer clips and remove the retainer and beater bar.
The beater bar is simple to remove hair from, much simpler then my other robot vacuum.
The R9350 can be programed to clean at scheduled times when you are away so that when you come home the cleaning job is done.
The emptying of the dust and debris bin is super simple as well. Pull up on the handle that holds the bin in place, push the retainer button and remove the lid and empty in your waste receptacle, it's that simple. The bin can also be washed when it begins to get built up dust and dirt.
The R9350 can be connected to your Samsung home hub, and when conned will send you notifications when the R9350 is cleaning or has completed cleaning.
You can also download and use the SmartThings app with the R9350.
You can control where the R9350 cleans by using the supplied strips that keep the R9350 from going into rooms that you do not want it in.
The R9350 comes with a remote control that can power on and off the R9350, increase or decrease the suction power, adjust the schedule and time, and the best feature of all use the R9350 as a point and clean vacuum. The point and clean remote feature is simple to use, simply push the up, down, left, or right button on remote and point the laser at the mess that needs cleaning and away the R9350 goes to clean up the mess. When you are done simply press the home button and the R9350 goes back to the charging home. It is that simple.
The R9350 is an all around cleaning powerhouse it has the capacity to clean all surfaces, carpeted or bare.

I wanna give this product my honest and best review. I thought that this product is on the high side of price but it actually works pretty well and the design is neat. I have wooden and carpet flooring when I received this product I noticed it did a fantastic job with the carpet , it has a really strong suction that picks up anything no matter the size.

I was excited but a bit skeptical of the R9350 POWERbot. There are some inconveniences. Unfortunately, the POWERbot will often struggle with certain types of furniture around the room even after moving objects out of the way. It will especially be an issue if the furniture in question has a close to vertical surface as the POWERbot may get stuck climbing the incline and be unable to get back down. Personally, I found that mapping the house and setting up automatic schedules did not work well owing to the machine getting stuck on occasion. This will depend on the exact layout of your house and types of furniture.
With that out of the way, I'll say that the POWERbot does a fantastic job actually cleaning rooms. It may take some manual intervention, but it's highly effective even on surfaces where traditional vacuums have difficult even with human control. Tried it on the very uneven and textured carpet in our office room, and it managed to get the fine specks out of the carpet fairly easily. The suction power is stronger than competitors, and this can make a difference for fine cleaning. Afterwards, we had the robot clean the whole house under supervision. Managed to do an excellent job with less effort than usual routines. While it doesn't quite live up to the dream of complete automation, it comes much closer than non-smart set-ups and provides many conveniences that outweigh the weaknesses. The device also will likely improve over time with future software updates and improvements in the application. That's another area where the POWERbot is ahead of others and shows promising potential.
